I chose to join facebook, listed myself as a Santa Cruz person and cruised through the other Santa Cruz names. Bumped into a few Cabrillo folks. I am not alone but the list is really short.
Getting myself listed in FaceBook in October led to an interesting series of contacts. Six of "my" ex-students--Cabrillo students who worked in the library for 2-5 years and got to be good young friends-- contacted me and added me into their friends groups. Happily I also got contacts from two adults, one librarian and one non-librarian colleague at Cabrillo.
